But every ache or pain is not alarming one and merits visiting a doctor. You should have the understanding, what’s causing pain or why? All you need is to deal with it in the humble way.
Why Your Body Aches
There are many reasons you experience pain in daily life. You may overdo your muscles and joints in exercise, sports, jogging and sometimes, it just senility making you weak and causing discomfort. You may have arthritis, an inflammation of joints, that may be responsible for your problem. Whether it is sore back or residual ache from tough or tiring work, there are always some simple ways to deal with it. Some super foods, simple stretch and strength exercises, some kind of yoga and mind dealing techniques that help ease your pain and make you comfortable. Learn one thing, pain or ache is the part of our life. We need to deal with it, not fear it. You are not prohibited to visit your physician, but it matters that your brain and body are sound enough to shield you from minor drawbacks of your life.
What You Can Do For Body Ache?
Body ache or pain can be instant and so severe to make you cry or it may be mild, smooth, or hazy pain to which you get weary and starts feeling pleasure in it. We can do some moves or light maneuvers to get relief of acute or instant body aches. Or we can put some foods onto our plate, in routine, that help us combating pain sensation and augment our immunity against chronic or long term pains.
Acute & Instant Aches
Muscle pain is the most common cause of acute pain, mostly due to some tear or strain during sports, fight, sudden movements, fallout, injury, stretching, and in the old age, just due to wear and tear of senility. These tips are useful for instant relief of pain or ache.
Stretch and Strengthen
Stretching the muscles help a lot even if for a few seconds. The tip is to start where the muscle hurt the most. Like you want to ease your sore back, bend forward slowly. It will hurt at first, but do it and keep up your posture for few second and then slowly rise. Do it again and in one or two attempts, you would feel relaxed.
Fade Pain with Music
Listening to a music decreases pain intensity in the chronic patients. This diverts your mind from focusing just on the pain and fills you up with some pleasure moments. At unconscious level, rhythmic music or script have healing effects in reducing pain and is used for comatose patients.
Trigger Acupressure Points
Some trigger points in your muscle correspond to acupressure points that increase energy flow in the muscles to relax them. Put some pressure on trigger points until a white mark is seen and keep up it some half a minute or so. It may hurt, but it will relax your muscles and decrease pain sensations.
Do Massage with Mustard Oil
Massage your body with mustard oil and it will soften and ultimately relax them. Mustard oil has healing power and pain combating effect if used for massage in routine.
Sink Your Feet in Warm Water
Put some warm water in a tub and drop some alum powder in it. Mix it thoroughly and now, sink your feet in this warm water for 15 mins. Do it daily for some weeks and it will lessen musculoskeletal pains. Alum (KAl(SO4)2·12H2O) has NSAID effects if mixed with warm water.
Chronic & Long Term Pains
Many factors contribute to chronic and long-term pains. Senility, arthritis, injuries, deficiency of essential minerals (Mg), and some infections may lead to chronic pains or body aches. You should include some super food, having medicinal effects and healing nature, in your diet plan.
Ginger has wonder properties to cut pain sensation and anti-inflammatory effects as well. It has natural effect to cut motion sickness and nausea. It marvelously lessens the menstrual pain so can be used as Ibuprofen.
Beta-Cryptoxanthin is present in oranges, a natural analgesic that have anti-inflammatory effects as well. Other citrus fruits, veggies like sweet potatoes and cantaloupe etc. also has beta-cryptoxanthin. Vitamin C, a natural anti-oxidant, present in oranges prevent respiratory infections or common cold.
Red grapes have excellent property to prevent back ache because these contain resveratrol, a unique compound, that inhibits degradation of cartilage. Blueberries and cranberries have the same compound.
Salmon contain Omega-3 fatty acids which prevent neck and back pain due to arthritis. The caffeine present in the coffee is helpful in reducing the muscular injury due to strenuous muscular work and sport. Body ache is not a problem if we learn a way to deal with it.
